A nd the sons of Machir son of Manasseh went to Gilead and took it and dispossessed the Amorites who were in it.

وَذَهَبَتْ عَشِيرَةُ ماكِيرَ بْنِ مَنَسَّى إلَى جِلْعادَ وَأخَذُوها، وَطَرَدُوا كُلَّ الأمُورِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ كانُوا فِي جِلْعادَ.
