R ejoice not, O Israel, with exultation as do the peoples, for you have played the harlot, forsaking your God. You have loved hire upon every threshing floor.

Du darfst dich nicht freuen, Israel, noch rühmen wie die Völker; denn du hurst wider deinen Gott und suchst damit Hurenlohn, daß alle Tennen voll Getreide werden.
