T hus says the Lord God: Because your brass and your filthiness were emptied out and your nakedness uncovered through your harlotries with your lovers, and because of all the idols of your abominations, and the blood of your children that you gave to them,

thus saith the Lord God; Because thy filthiness was poured out, and thy nakedness discovered through thy whoredoms with thy lovers, and with all the idols of thy abominations, and by the blood of thy children, which thou didst give unto them;
