Jeremiah 38:9 ~ Jeremías 38:9

M y lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon or cistern pit; and he is liable to die of hunger and is dead in the place where he is, for there is no more bread left in the city.

«Mi señor y rey, todo lo que estos hombres han hecho con el profeta Jeremías está muy mal. Lo han echado en la cisterna, y allí se morirá de hambre, pues ya no hay pan en la ciudad.»
