Jeremiah 38:16 ~ ﺃﺭﻣﻴﺎء 38:16

S o Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, As the Lord lives, Who made our lives, I will not put you to death or give you into the hands of these men who seek your life.

فَأقسَمَ المَلِكُ لإرْمِيا بِالسِّرِّ وَقالَ: «أُقسِمُ بِاللهِ الحَيِّ الَّذِي صَنَعَنا وَأعطانا حَياةً، لَنْ أقتُلَكَ، وَلَنْ أُسَلِّمَكَ إلَى يَدِ هَؤُلاءِ الرِّجالِ الَّذِينَ يَسعُونَ إلَى قَتلِكَ.»
