S o Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, As the Lord lives, Who made our lives, I will not put you to death or give you into the hands of these men who seek your life.

西 底 家 王 就 私 下 向 耶 利 米 说 ： 我 指 着 那 造 我 们 生 命 之 永 生 的 耶 和 华 起 誓 ： 我 必 不 杀 你 ， 也 不 将 你 交 在 寻 索 你 命 的 人 手 中 。
