L ook down from heaven and see from the dwelling place of Your holiness and Your glory. Where are Your zeal and Your jealousy and Your mighty acts ? Your yearning pity and the compassions of Your heart are restrained and withheld from me.

Guarda dal cielo e vedi dalla tua dimora santa e gloriosa. Dov'è il tuo zelo e la tua potenza? Il fremito delle tue viscere e le tue tenere compassioni verso di me sono forse state represse?
