h ave you not heard that I purposed to do it long ago, that I planned it in ancient times? Now I have brought it to pass, that you should lay waste fortified cities, making them ruinous heaps.

Dar n'ai auzit că am pregătit aceste lucruri de demult, şi că le-am hotărît din vremuri străvechi? Acum însă am dat voie să se împlinească, pentru ca să prefaci cetăţi tari în nişte mormane de dărîmături.
