O nly on this condition shall the iniquity of Jacob (Israel) be forgiven and purged, and this shall be the full fruit for taking away his sin: that should make all the stones of the altars like chalk stones crushed to pieces, so that the Asherim and the sun-images shall not remain standing or rise again.

Prin urmare, astfel va fi ispăşită vina lui Iacov, acesta va fi rodul deplin al îndepărtării păcatului său: când El va face din toate pietrele altarelor nişte pietre de var zdrobite în bucăţi, nu vor mai rămâne în picioare nici aşerele şi nici altarele pentru tămâiere.
