D avid lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and the heavens, having a drawn sword in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. Then David and the elders, clothed in sackcloth, fell upon their faces.

大 卫 举 目 ， 看 见 耶 和 华 的 使 者 站 在 天 地 间 ， 手 里 有 拔 出 来 的 刀 ， 伸 在 耶 路 撒 冷 以 上 。 大 卫 和 长 老 都 身 穿 麻 衣 ， 面 伏 於 地 。
