W hen Jehu left there, he met Jehonadab son of Rechab coming to meet him. He saluted him and said to him, Is your heart right, as my heart is with yours? Jehonadab answered, It is. If it is, give me your hand. He gave him his hand, and Jehu took him up into the chariot.

Cuando partió de allí, encontró a Jonadab, hijo de Recab, que venía a su encuentro, lo saludó y le dijo: ¿Es recto tu corazón como mi corazón es con el tuyo ? Y Jonadab respondió: Lo es. Y Jehú dijo: Si lo es, da me la mano. Y le dio su mano y lo hizo subir al carro.
