T he king sent for Shimei and said to him, Build yourself a house in Jerusalem and dwell there, and do not leave there.

وَبَعدَ ذَلِكَ اسْتَدعَى المَلِكُ شَمْعَى وَقالَ لَهُ: «ابْنِ لَكَ بَيتاً هُنا فِي القُدسِ. وَأقِمْ فِيهِ وَلا تُغادِرِ المَدِينَةَ أبَداً إلَى أيِّ مَكانٍ.
