T hen the servants of David came with Joab from pursuing a troop and brought much spoil with them. But Abner was not with David in Hebron, for he had sent him away, and he had gone in peace.

Ioab şi oamenii lui David s'au întors dela urmărirea unei cete, şi au adus cu ei o mare pradă. Abner nu mai era la David în Hebron, căci David îi dăduse drumul, şi plecase în pace.
