A nd Araunah said to David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seems good to him. Behold, here are oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and the yokes of the oxen for wood.

– Stăpânul meu, regele, poate să ia şi să aducă ca jertfă tot ceea ce doreşte, i-a zis Aravna lui David. Aici sunt şi boii pentru arderea de tot, iar uneltele de treierat şi jugul vor ţine loc de lemne.
