T he king commanded Joab, Abishai, and Ittai, saying, Deal gently for my sake with the young man Absalom. And all the people heard when the king gave orders to all the commanders about Absalom.

Regele le-a poruncit lui Ioab, lui Abişai şi lui Itai: „De dragul meu, purtaţi-vă blând cu tânărul Absalom!“ Şi întreaga oştire a auzit această poruncă, pe care regele a dat-o fiecărui conducător cu privire la Absalom.
