P astaj çuan Asahelin dhe e varrosën në varrin e atit të tij, që ndodhet në Betlem. Pas kësaj Joabi dhe njerëzit e tij ecën tërë natën dhe arritën në Hebron në të gdhirë.

And they lift up Asahel, and bury him in the burying-place of his father, which in Beth-Lehem, and they go all the night -- Joab and his men -- and it is light to them in Hebron.
