P randaj këtij vendi iu dha emri i Babelit, sepse Zoti aty ngatërroi gjuhën e tërë dheut dhe i shpërndau mbi tërë faqen e dheut.

Therefore the name of it was called Babel because there the LORD confounded the language of all the earth, and from there the LORD scattered them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
