A nd when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.

Cînd au ajuns pe malurile Iordanului, cari fac parte din ţara Canaanului, fiii lui Ruben, fiii lui Gad şi jumătate din seminţia lui Manase, au zidit acolo un altar lîngă Iordan, un altar a cărui mărime izbea privirile.
