A nd when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.

Tendo chegado ã região junto ao Jordão, ainda na terra de Canaã, os filhos de Rúben os filhos de Gade e a meia tribo de Manassés edificaram ali, ã beira do Jordão, um altar de grandes proporções.
