G od forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.

¡De ninguna manera! Antes bien, sea Dios veraz y todo hombre mentiroso; como está escrito: «Para que seas justificado en tus palabras, y venzas cuando seas juzgado.»
