A nd I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad against them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities.

E spesso, in tutte le sinagoghe, punendoli, li costringevo a bestemmiare; e, infuriato oltremodo contro di loro, li perseguitavo fin nelle città straniere.
