John 21:23 ~ Juan 21:23

T hen went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

De allí surgió la idea entre los hermanos de que aquel discípulo no moriría. Pero Jesús no le dijo que no moriría. Sólo le dijo: «Si yo quiero que él se quede hasta que yo venga, ¿a ti qué?»
