A nd one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.

Unul din ei a ieşit pe cîmp să culeagă verdeţuri; a găsit viţă sălbatică şi a cules din ea curcubeţe sălbatice, pînă şi -a umplut haina. Cînd s'a întors, le -a tăiat în bucăţi în oala cu ciorbă, căci nu le cunoştea.
