A nd one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.

Uno di questi andò fuori per i campi a cogliere erbe; trovò una specie di vite selvatica, ne colse i frutti, le colloquintidi, e se ne riempì la veste; e al suo ritorno, li tagliò a pezzi e li mise nella pentola dov’era la minestra; ma non si sapeva che cosa fossero.
