N ow these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham:

هَذِهِ أسْماءُ أبناءِ إسْماعِيلَ الَّذِي أنْجَبَهُ إبْراهِيمُ مِنَ الجارِيَةِ المِصْرِيَّةِ هاجَرَ.
