E ntão foi o primeiro e derramou a sua taça sobre a terra; e apareceu uma chaga ruim e maligna nos homens que tinham o sinal da besta e que adoravam a sua imagem.

So the first went and emptied his bowl on the earth, and foul and painful ulcers (sores) came on the people who were marked with the stamp of the beast and who did homage to his image.
