T endo eles, pois, ouvido o rei, partiram; e eis que a estrela que tinham visto quando no oriente ia adiante deles, até que, chegando, se deteve sobre o lugar onde estava o menino.

When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.
