E ntão Amazias, o sacerdote de Betel, mandou dizer a Jeroboão, rei de Israel: Amós tem conspirado contra ti no meio da casa de Israel; a terra não poderá suportar tedas as suas palavras.

¶ Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos has conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel; the land is not able to bear all his words.
