E ntão o mesmo Daniel sobrepujava a estes presidentes e aos sátrapas; porque nele havia um espírito excelente; e o rei pensava constituí-lo sobre todo o reino:

Then this Daniel hath been overseer over the presidents and satraps, because that an excellent spirit in him, and the king hath thought to establish him over the whole kingdom.
