q ue dizem ao pau: Tu és meu pai; e ã pedra: Tu me geraste. Porque me viraram as costas, e não o rosto; mas no tempo do seu aperto dir-me-ão: Levanta-te, e salvamos.

They say to a tree, ‘You are my father,’ and to a stone, ‘You gave me birth.’ For they have turned their back to Me, and not their face. But in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Rise up and save us.’
