T endo o rei de Israel lido a carta, rasgou as suas vestes, e disse: Sou eu Deus, que possa matar e vivificar, para que este envie a mim um homem a fim de que eu o cure da sua lepra? Notai, peço-vos, e vede como ele anda buscando ocasião contra mim.

And it cometh to pass, at the king of Israel's reading the letter, that he rendeth his garments, and saith, `Am I God, to put to death and to keep alive, that this is sending unto me to recover a man from his leprosy? for surely know, I pray you, and see, for he is presenting himself to me.'
