e disse: Longe de mim, ó Senhor, que eu tal faça! Beberia eu o sangue dos homens que foram com risco das suas vidas? De maneira que não a quis beber. Isto fizeram aqueles três valentes.

And he said, Be it far from me, O Lord, to drink this. Is it not the blood of the men who went at the risk of their lives? So he would not drink it. These things did the three mighty men.
