M as Israel, estendendo a mão direita, colocou-a sobre a cabeça de Efraim, que era o menor, e a esquerda sobre a cabeça de Manassés, dirigindo as mãos assim propositadamente, sendo embora este o primogênito.

Then Israel stretched out his right hand and laid it upon Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and his left hand upon Manasseh’s head, guiding his hands with understanding; for Manasseh was the firstborn.
