A nd the cities which the Philistines have taken from Israel are restored to Israel -- from Ekron even unto Gath -- and their border hath Israel delivered out of the hand of the Philistines; and there is peace between Israel and the Amorite.

Cetăţile pe care filistenii le-au capturat de la Israel, cele de la Ekron şi până la Gat, au fost luate înapoi. Israel şi-a eliberat teritoriile de sub stăpânirea filistenilor. În acelaşi timp, a fost pace şi între Israel şi amoriţi.
