A nd David saith to his men, `Gird ye on each his sword;' and they gird on each his sword, and David also girdeth on his sword, and there go up after David about four hundred men, and two hundred have remained by the vessels.

Allora Davide disse ai suoi uomini: «Ognuno si cinga la spada». Così ognuno cinse la propria spada e anche Davide cinse la sua spada; circa quattrocento omini salirono dietro a Davide e duecento rimasero presso i bagagli.
