A nd David answereth the priest, and saith to him, `Surely, if women have been restrained from us as heretofore in my going out, then the vessels of the young men are holy, and it a common way: and also, surely to-day it is sanctified in the vessel.'

(21-6) І відповів Давид священикові, та й сказав йому: Так, бо жінок не було при нас як учора, так і позавчора, відколи я вийшов, і тіла слуг були чисті. А то хліб звичайний, особливо коли сьогодні замість цього інший хліб у посудині стане святим.
