A nd the anger of Jehovah burneth against Israel, and He giveth them into the hand of spoilers, and they spoil them, and He selleth them into the hand of their enemies round about, and they have not been able any more to stand before their enemies;

E l'ira dell'Eterno si accese contro Israele e li diede nelle mani dei predoni, che li spogliarono; e li vendette nelle mani dei loro nemici all'intorno, ai quali non poterono piú tener fronte.
