A nd Samson lieth down till the middle of the night, and riseth in the middle of the night, and layeth hold on the doors of the gate of the city, and on the two side posts, and removeth them with the bar, and putteth on his shoulders, and taketh them up unto the top of the hill, which on the front of Hebron.

Sansone rimase coricato fino a mezzanotte; poi a mezzanotte si alzò, afferrò i battenti della porta della città e i due stipiti, li divelse insieme con la sbarra, se li caricò sulle spalle e li portò in cima al monte che si trova di fronte a Hebron.
