B eloved, I call upon, as strangers and sojourners, to keep from the fleshly desires, that war against the soul,

أيُّها الأحِبّاءُ، أنتُمْ غُرَباءُ تُقِيمُونَ فِي هَذا العالَمِ إقامَةً مُؤَقَّتَةً. لِهَذا أُناشِدُكُمْ أنْ تَتَجَنَّبُوا الشَّهَواتِ الشِّرِّيرَةَ الَّتِي تُحارِبُكُمْ،
