a nd all the people of war who with him have gone up, and draw nigh and come in over-against the city, and encamp on the north of Ai; and the valley between him and Ai.

Toţi ostaşii care erau cu el au înaintat şi s-au apropiat de cetate. Când au ajuns înaintea cetăţii, şi-au aşezat tabăra la nord de Ai, între ei şi cetate existând o vale.
