Joshua 7:12 ~ Giosué 7:12

a nd the sons of Israel have not been able to stand before their enemies; the neck they turn before their enemies, for they have become a devoted thing; I add not to be with you -- if ye destroy not the devoted thing out of your midst.

Per questo i figli d'Israele non possono tener fronte ai loro nemici, e hanno voltato le spalle davanti ai loro nemici, perché sono divenuti essi stessi maledetti. Io non sarò piú con voi, se non distruggete le cose votate allo sterminio di mezzo a voi.
