a nd they come in unto the districts of the Jordan, which in the land of Canaan, and the sons of Reuben, and the sons of Gad, and the half of the tribe of Manasseh, build there an altar by the Jordan -- a great altar for appearance.

E come giunsero alla regione del Giordano che appartiene al paese di Canaan, i figli di Ruben, i figli di Gad e la mezza tribù di Manasse vi costruirono un altare, presso il Giordano: un grande altare, che colpiva la vista.
