f or from Jehovah it hath been to strengthen their heart, to meet in battle with Israel, in order to devote them, so that they have no grace, but in order to destroy them, as Jehovah commanded Moses.

Porque fue la intención del Señor endurecer el corazón de ellos, para que se enfrentaran en batalla con Israel, a fin de que fueran destruidos por completo, sin que tuviera piedad de ellos y los exterminara, tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.
