a nd thou hast known, that not for thy righteousness is Jehovah thy God giving to thee this good land to possess it, for a people stiff of neck thou.

Sappi dunque che non è per la tua giustizia che l'Eterno, il tuo DIO, ti dà in possesso questo buon paese, poiché tu sei un popolo dal collo duro.
