` Go up unto this mount Abarim, mount Nebo, which in the land of Moab, which on the front of Jericho, and see the land of Canaan which I am giving to the sons of Israel for a possession;

„Urcă-te pe muntele Abarim, adică pe muntele Nebo, în ţara Moab, care este înaintea Ierihonului şi priveşte Canaanul pe care Eu îl dau lui Israel în stăpânire.
