b ecause of this, these things -- being absent -- I write, that being present, I may not treat sharply, according to the authority that the Lord did give me for building up, and not for casting down.

لِهَذا أكتُبُ هَذهِ الأشياءَ وَأنا بَعِيدٌ عَنكُمْ، لِئَلّا أُضطَرَّ عِندَما آتِي إلَى التَّعامُلِ مَعكُمْ بِشِدَّةٍ. لِأنَّ السُّلطانَ الَّذِي مَنَحَهُ الرَّبُّ لِي هُوَ مِنْ أجلِ بُنيانِكُمْ، لا مِنْ أجلِ هَدمِكُمْ.
