f or the married woman to the living husband hath been bound by law, and if the husband may die, she hath been free from the law of the husband;

O femeie măritată este legată prin Lege de soţul ei, atâta timp cât acesta trăieşte, însă dacă soţul ei moare, ea este dezlegată de Lege în ce priveşte legătura cu soţul ei.
