A nd there having been long fasting, then Paul having stood in the midst of them, said, `It behoved, indeed, O men -- having hearkened to me -- not to set sail from Crete, and to save this hurt and damage;

But after long abstinence from food, then Paul stood in the midst of them and said, “Men, you should have listened to me, and not have sailed from Crete and incurred this disaster and loss.
