n ow, therefore, ye, signify ye to the chief captain, with the sanhedrim, that to-morrow he may bring him down unto you, as being about to know more exactly the things concerning him; and we, before his coming nigh, are ready to put him to death.'

Ahora pues, vosotros y el concilio, avisad al comandante para que lo haga comparecer ante vosotros, como si quisierais hacer una investigación más minuciosa para resolver su caso; nosotros por nuestra parte estamos listos para matarlo antes de que llegue.
