a nd all the multitudes who were come together to this sight, beholding the things that came to pass, smiting their breasts did turn back;

وَرَأى كُلُّ النّاسِ الَّذِينَ تَجَمهَرُوا الأشياءَ الَّتِي حَصَلَتْ، فَمَضُوا وَهُمْ يَقرَعُونَ عَلَى صُدُورِهِمْ.
